First we put pure nitrogen along the corn rolls and tilled it in. Then we used the Farmall cub to throw the dirt toward the corn.
This is called hilling the corn! It should really turn dark green now and grow tall.
This is the 1953 Farmall Cub I used to hill the corn. An old man in Tennessee had it for years. He retired and move to OK--Coweta. He never used the Cub and equipment after he moved it and a few years back I bought it from him. It surely is a good tractor. I like the way it looks--straight but work worn. I don't want to restore it! I think it neat looking the way it is! I guess her name could be Juanita from Coweta!
